Spice up your Quick Bruschetta!

Directions


  1. Heat the oven to 400°F.

  2. Chop half of the basil, then set it aside.

  3. Mix the olive oil with the salt, pepper and the Bruschetta Seasoning Blend in a medium bowl until well blended.

  4. Add the tomatoes and the chopped basil; mix lightly. 

  5. Brush both sides of the bread slices with the remaining oil. Rub evenly with the garlic, then place the bread slices in a single layer on baking sheet.

  6. Bake 5 minutes or until golden brown. Remove the baking sheet from the oven.

  7. Top the bread slices with the tomato mixture and the remaining basil leaves.

½ cup of fresh basil leaves, divided

1 lb. fresh tomatoes, chopped


1 loaf ciabatta bread (approx. 11 oz.), cut into 1-inch-thick slices


1 garlic clove, cut in half
